We have a busy 2023 ahead of us and are looking for a driven and passionate marketing, communications or PR student, in the final stages of finishing their degree, to undertake an internship.
UNIQ You’s International Day of the Girl Breakfast provides Grade 9-12 girls from 15 regional and remote high schools across Queensland with 12 months subsidised access to inspiring role models and career pathway advice.
On Tuesday 11th October, close to 200 guests joined us at Victoria Park to celebrate the 10th anniversary of International Day of the Girl and raise funds to connect Queensland’s regional girls with inspirational role models and career opportunities.
On Tuesday 11th October, nearly 200 guests, including Ministers and Members of Parliament, leading industry professionals, high school educators and high school girls from across Queensland converged on Victoria Park for UNIQ You’s International Day of the Girl Breakfast.
Airservices Australia is taking a lead role in addressing “you can’t be what you can’t see” by partnering with not-for-profit UNIQ You to inspire more young girls and women to pursue careers in aviation.
We recently shared with our partners service-delivery results for Terms 1 and 2 of the 2022 school year. Of note is the fantastic feedback received from everyone involved in the advisory calls – Years 9-12 girls, their educators and company advisors.
All signs point to gender equality in the Transport/Logistics sector, with UNIQ You’s newest partner Lindsay Australia coming onboard to increase the visibility of their women working across the supply chain to support sustainable food practices.
While the girls and their educators are usually our focus in campaigns, during O-Week we were keen to hear how our Advisors found the experience and what insights they had about the next generation of young talent.
