The role of a Maintenance Technician within an energy, gas and oil company is to carry out the maintenance on gas wellsites and gas compression stations. This includes small engine maintenance, pipework maintenance and part installation.
The Technician also inspects equipment, and systems to identify any issues. Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures is an ongoing task. Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures is also involved.
