Ask me about

  • What made you switch from working in business to becoming a teacher?

  • What skills from working at Citibank have helped you in education?
  • What was it like travelling to Italy and how did it shape your goals?

About me

I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do when I left school, but I knew I wanted to work with people and have variety in my day. I took a gap year to work and travel, exploring different paths. After experiences in retail, hospitality, and travelling to Italy, I realised I enjoyed helping others and organising events. I pursued a Business degree in Human Resource Management and worked at Citibank. Volunteering as a refugee tutor sparked a passion for teaching and mentoring teenagers. That experience changed my direction, and my journey in education began. Over time, I’ve grown into a role that feels deeply aligned with who I am – something I didn’t plan, but found through lived experience.

  • Flexible
  • Focused
  • Optimistic
  • Personable

Roshea works with teachers to design learning that’s exciting, inclusive, and connected to students’ futures. Her main focus is helping teachers use teaching strategies (called pedagogy) that spark critical and creative thinking in the classroom. Roshea believes learning should help students grow not just in knowledge, but in character-developing intellectual virtues like curiosity, courage, and tenacity. She supports teachers to create learning that challenge students to think deeply, ask questions, and explore ideas in meaningful ways. Roshea also makes sure every student feels supported and included, no matter their background or abilities. Her goal is to help students discover their passions and feel confident about where learning can take them.
