About me
I went to high school in Melbourne, then completed my last two years of high school in Gladstone. Whilst in Gladstone, I had to complete two subjects via online distance education, as well as three subjects at the high school I attended.
When I finished high school, I was set on studying Economics at university, but I hadn’t quite figured out the exact career I wanted after completing my undergraduate degree. Whilst studying, I completed an internship within the banking industry, which I enjoyed.
After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to complete a postgraduate degree. Whilst completing my postgraduate studies, I became increasingly interested in energy economics. This led me to look for graduate roles within the energy industry, and now I work as a graduate in one of Australia’s largest integrated energy companies.

As a commercial graduate in the economics team within Origin's integrated gas business unit, I assist in evaluating various business projects from an economic perspective. Projects are often assessed through economic modelling, primarily using Excel. The economic models take into account the benefits and costs associated with a project and determine whether the project will be economically beneficial for the business to execute.
