About me

When I graduated from school, I thought I would become an engineer because I enjoyed problem-solving and mathematics. I moved to Brisbane to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering and Mathematics at QUT while working full-time as a tutor to support myself. During my studies, I met a group of students passionate about the environment and sustainability, and I was inspired by their career goals. I started researching environmental jobs and realised they were more appealing to me than engineering. Surprised by how many opportunities existed in this field, I switched to Environmental Science. In my final year, I secured a job as an Environmental Officer at the Port of Brisbane. I balanced work and study full-time until I graduated at the end of 2024.
