About me
- International Experience
In high school, I assumed my career path would be in physiotherapy or nutrition due to my love for sports. At the same time, I excelled in Maths and Economics, which broadened my academic interests. My mother arranged for me to see a careers counsellor, who conducted strength-based and psychometric testing. This process ultimately led me to choose a Bachelor of Property Economics as my preferred university degree.
During university, I took on a role as a conveyancing clerk in the real estate industry, which helped me secure my first full-time position at a global property agency. A few years later, I landed my dream job at a leading Australian REIT, sparking a passion for real estate investment that continues to this day.
Now, I work as a Property Portfolio Manager at the Port of Brisbane—a cornerstone of the Queensland economy. My role spans a diverse property portfolio within this landmark infrastructure asset, covering everything from major shipping terminals and container parks to bulk operations in grain, coal, cement, and woodchips. I’m also involved with new prime industrial developments, rail and road networks, land reclamation projects, marine and shipping operations. No two days are ever the same, making this an exciting and dynamic career that perfectly aligns with my skills and passions.
About my role
- Calm
- Confident
- Curious
- Disciplined
- Passionate
I work with various stakeholders to ensure the highest and best use of prime land is achieved. This is either enticing new businesses to lease land or help them develop the land via a new development or working with existing occupiers to help renew their leases, refurbish their land or create new developments on their land. Ultimately the process aims to drive value and is always subject to achieving acceptable, sustainable and viable returns for our share holders or investors.
