About me

I had no idea what I wanted to do when I left school, just that I liked maths and that was about it. Off I went to study a Maths and Finance degree. At the end of uni, I really wanted to find a practical application of maths and so I landed a graduate role at Queensland Rail in Workforce Optimisation. From there I started learning all about workforce and the railway and made my way up to a Principal Advisor and helped build a team of mathematicians. After 5.5 years at Queensland Rail, it was time for a change to branch out, learn something new and apply the skills I had developed in a new way. The transition to a boutique consulting firm has been a very exciting step and I am learning something new every day.

A business consultant is a professional who partners with organisations to improve performance, solve complex challenges, and drive sustainable growth through expert advice and data-driven insights. They analyse operations, identify inefficiencies, and design strategic solutions tailored to business goals. Data plays a central role in their work—whether building dashboards to uncover trends, crunching numbers in spreadsheets, or leveraging analytics to guide decision-making. Consultants collaborate closely with leadership teams to implement changes, optimise processes, and adapt to an increasingly digital, data-driven world. By combining industry expertise with advanced analytical tools, they provide actionable recommendations that help businesses stay competitive, make informed decisions, and achieve measurable success. Their ultimate aim is to empower organisations to grow, innovate, and thrive in dynamic markets.
