As a Manager for Future Servicing, my main goals are to understand how the trends and drivers of the future will affect my company and come up with strategies to help my organisation adapt to the new trends, including; how to ensure public health and protect the environment, and find ways to simultaneously bring mutual benefits to both. This role coordinates a team of engineers and scientists to look to the future and what changes are needed to be made now, so that we can to build and adapt communities into the future. This will ensure that they are clean, sustainable, great places to live – all whilst being resilient to changing climates, changing demands, best possible price point, new technology and honouring all cultures. As the Manager Futures Servicing I use engineering skills to analyse trends and solve problems in teams, in a way that contributes to the community and looks beyond ‘traditional’ engineering of pipes, pumps and construction. This role is for people that are passionate about sustainability and innovation of water and sewage services, because in the end – all living things need water.
