From when I was very young, I wanted to be a veterinarian, but during school I started to really enjoy art and ended up being strong in the arts and sciences.
I took a year off after school to try and decide which path to take and then started a degree in life sciences. Several years later I had a masters degree in Zoology and few employment opportunities.
A lucky job placement in computational biology introduced me to the world of software development, in which I have worked ever since.
