UNIQ You, in partnership with Rio Tinto, invites you to join our exclusive Educator Program, Accelerate – a unique initiative designed for educators to connect, collaborate, and inspire STEM engagement in your school by working alongside women leaders in mining.
The Accelerate Program has two key components:
1. Exclusive Access to Term Webinars
Participate in our inspiring, termly webinar series focused on key themes in STEM and mining:
- Term 1: A Day in the Life of – Explore real-world STEM careers through authentic stories and experiences.
- Term 2: Myth Busting – Challenge misconceptions and broaden students’ understanding of STEM possibilities.
- Term 3: Diversity and Inclusion – Gain insights and strategies to create an inclusive STEM environment that celebrates diversity.
- Term 4: Leadership and STEM – Learn how to cultivate leadership skills and inspire STEM pathways in your school.
2. Ongoing Networking and Collaboration
Beyond the webinars, Accelerate Educator Program provides opportunities for schools and educators for ongoing professional growth and engagement:
- Regular termly networking events to connect with educators and industry professionals.
- Small focus groups to exchange ideas and co-create practical resources.
- Online forums for ongoing discussions and resource sharing.
- Exclusive resources tailored to support your efforts in fostering STEM interest and pathways in schools.
As part of this program, 20 educators will connect with 20 industry advisors from our partner Rio Tinto each term to collaborate. This program offers a rare opportunity to network, learn, and co-create with like-minded educators and industry leaders, empowering you to drive meaningful change in STEM education.
