About me

  • Regional Background

From a young age, I’ve been very creative and thought outside the box. I have a love for math, but creativity always prevailed. The majority of my classes throughout school reflected that. When it came time to choose a university path, I selected architecture. It allowed me to be creative while also giving me the opportunity to be a part of something tangible and see it built. I’ve always been around construction and engineering, as my dad is an engineer, but during my formative years, I definitely didn’t envision myself being part of this world. However, when an opportunity to join BMD arose, I didn’t hesitate, and I haven’t looked back. I’m currently completing my Master of Architecture and I am excited about finding a way to merge my two worlds.

A construction advisor acts as a critical link between senior engineers and subcontractors as well as other key stakeholders within a project, facilitating projects from commencement to completion.

• Communicate with the project manager, direct reports, supervisors, and subcontractors.

• Follow drawings and specifications to complete the project as designed

• Ensure daily adherence to safety and quality standards on-site

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise on-site

• Plan upcoming tasks to keep the project on schedule

• Track and record daily costs for my work
