CleanCo Queensland: Community Futures Fund Wrap-Up

Empowering Regional Students Through Scholarships

UNIQ You was proud to be a recipient of CleanCo Queensland’s Community Futures Fund. This generous support provided us with the resources to award scholarships to two regional schools, Rockhampton Girls Grammar School and Rockhampton State High School, granting them free access to our service throughout 2025.

A highlight of our collaboration with CleanCo was in March 2025, when UNIQ You Engagement Coordinator Helen Rowe, alongside CleanCo’s Community Performance Specialist, Lewis McKee, visited Rockhampton Girls Grammar School and Rockhampton State High School to present the scholarships in person, directly to the schools’ Year 12 leaders.

These visits strengthened our connection with the schools and set the stage for an exciting year ahead, as we continue to support these students through tailored career conversations.

This partnership has already enabled UNIQ You to facilitate nine inspiring career conversations with these schools in 2025. 130 female students have connected with 15 inspiring Advisors.

With the second half of the year ahead, we look forward to continuing to support these students as they explore opportunities in non-traditional industries.

We are proud to stand alongside CleanCo to promote and empower young women in regional communities to consider careers beyond traditional pathways. Together, we’re helping to create a brighter, more inclusive future.

A huge thank you goes to CleanCo Queensland for their support and commitment to gender equality!
