About this role
- Communication
- Problem-solving
- Teamwork
In this role you read resumes, conduct interviews, complete pre-employment steps (like getting a police clearance or a medical) and write contracts of employment. You also help onboard individuals into the company and be their first friend.
The People and Performance Administrator sets up inductions, organises new employee uniforms and flights. Once an employee is settled into the business, this role is to help them with any questions they might have – whether their pay doesn’t make sense or if they want to do some more training or study.
Lastly, when someone is ready to leave the company, you help organise the closure of their accounts and the return of company property. An exit interview is then held to understand how much the employee enjoyed their time at the business.
