Health, Safety & Environmental Lead

HSE is heavily regulated through legislation and internal policy. 

This role is to ensure all our operations are compliant, which will keep our people, community and environment safe.  It's not about acting like a compliance officer, it’s about understanding what must be done and helping the people doing the work to implement plans and procedures to ensure things are done in the safest and most efficient way. 

This also applies to the work we do in the environment. The HSE Lead role is to ensure that activities undertaken which may disturb land and vegetation focus on minimising any impact and ensuring the best rehabilitation outcomes after the work is completed. This role is responsible for writing management plans which detail the policies and processes the team working on the ground must follow to keep them and the environment safe.  The most important part of this role is making sure these plans are understood and followed.
