Dam Operators are responsible for the surveillance, operations, maintenance and general supervision of the dams. This role maintains raw water pumping stations and pipelines. Duties for dam surveillance includes monitoring of the dam levels and gauges, and completing general maintenance of the site and machinery / equipment as required. We also run a fishway transfer system this allows us to transfer our Native fish that are migrating upstream from the river below the dam wall, and release them into the dam. We also transfer Turtles and eels.
