- International Experience
I grew up in Corsica and South America until the age of 8 before moving to England where I learned English, attended an International Boarding School and went on to one of the top Universities to study Economics where I achieved a first-class honour. I have always thought I was going to do a graduate program in investment banking, because I thought money was the most important factor. After speaking with people who did this job, I quickly learnt that a lot of them weren’t happy. Whilst I tried to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, I took the opportunity to do a gap year and travelled to Australia where I fell in love with the country and lifestyle this country offered her. When returning to London, I started my first job in Recruitment, and quickly found out a passion for sales and Cyber Security. Knowing that I wanted to return to Australia, I used my 4 year’s experience to get sponsored and is now working for the biggest Cyber Security company in Australia to help them find the best talent.
About my role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for vacant positions as well as onboarding new employees. They do this by building and using their connections to proactively build a talent pool of candidates. They are responsible for building a great candidate experience through a variety of activities across all parts of the TA lifecycle, including driving candidate engagement, sourcing activities, communicating employee value proposition to potential candidates and guiding hiring manager relationships.
