About me
- International Experience
I had a set journey right from the beginning where I knew I had to choose between two career paths – medicine or engineering. I chose electrical engineering with a focus on power generation, which led to an exciting opportunity with a major power generation, transmission, and distribution company in Pakistan. My career began as a technical sales engineer at Siemens, where I gained valuable knowledge in gas and steam technologies. While it was fun working there, I decided to challenge myself further by moving abroad to pursue higher education. I chose Australia, enrolling in a Master’s and Doctorate in renewable energy. During this time, I worked briefly as a data centre engineering operations technician at Amazon Web services, gaining hands-on experience in data management. Soon after finishing my studies, I joined Iberdrola Australia to work as a renewable energy graduate engineer.
