About me
- International Experience
I am a passionate change maker who finds it hard to walk past an opportunity to make a difference. I started my professional life as a marketing consultant, however I spent most of the last twenty years in the mining industry. Starting in an administration role to get my foot in the door on a large mine site, I have had the opportunity to experience many different types of work across a variety of teams, projects, and businesses, including running my own consulting company. Whether it’s at my ‘day job’ with OZ Minerals or one of my various volunteer roles, I am known for my ability to bring diverse teams together in a way that sees people operating at their best and bringing things to life that they didn’t think were possible.
About my role
- Curious
- Independent
- Logical
- Optimistic
- Personable
The role of Manager Studies, builds diverse teams of people to work together on solving a complex problem or finding a way to take advantage of an opportunity.
The Manager Studies role helps a team focus on what things are needed to be completed in order to add the most value (ie what problems we need to solve), and then facilitate a process where you find ways to make the impossible possible!
Although most of this role is facilitating processes and working sessions where teams come together, you also spend time one on one with each person to make sure that you have an understanding of their skills and experience, as well as what they’re passionate about, to help them be their best within the team.
